VortexHealing is based on the philosophy that all life and creation is One, connected by the same Source. That feeling that there is something beyond our everyday, material reality. But we live in a place of separation - from each other, from nature, from the sense of universal consciousness - and this creates all kinds of issues and identities. Over time (and lives) these imprint and condition every level of our human system - our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and even our sense of spirituality.
The intent of VortexHealing is to release this conditioning on every level, returning the person to emotional balance and energetic strength, so that health prevails.
A VortexHealing practitioner acts as a bridge for the healing energy that runs throughout this web of life, to bring consciousness into an issue, help to go beyond the ego of separateness, and transform what is ready to be transformed.

Why the name Great Heart Healing?
I have been a practicing Zen Buddhist for more than 15 years, and Koshin is the dharma name my teacher chose for me. That translates from Japanese as Great Heart. A dharma name isn't just an affirmation of how one is, but an aspiration of how one would like to be. Life constantly reminds me to be with my heart, for myself and for others.
VortexHealing energies are manifested in the heart, and intended from the heart.
